When you focus on making the people around you successful, you will cultivate their trust in you as a leader.

This version of leadership requires understanding two things:

  1. Everyone is a leader and you can lead from wherever you are.
  2. Teams succeed when everyone invests in each other’s success and simultaneously expects more from each other; that’s what it means to play well together.
