The problem with waiting to let someone else take the lead is that we automatically miss the influence we can have in this moment. In a world focused primarily on titles, positions, and power, we miss the opportunity to realize that we’re all leading all the time. When we forget that, we abdicate our personal power to shift the direction ever so slightly, even if it’s just the mindset with which we approach the rest of the situation.
