two ways to receive feedback

  1. Get defensive. There are many ways to do so: protest, seethe afterwards, get angry, threaten to quit/leave, shutdown, etc.
  2. See the truth in the feedback and trace it back to the first time you started doing that “thing”. Likely the behavior/way of being that’s being observed served a purpose for you at some point. Appreciate the function it played, be kind to yourself, and also accept the feedback.

We all have the capacity to keep growing.
