Don’t exist. But we treat our feelings as if they do, as if there’s a finite number we are allowed to feel or express. Our fear of being “too much” stops us just short of fully expressing ourselves.

The shift won’t happen over night, but as we learn to pay closer and closer attention to our feelings, we will also get better at recognizing the dynamics in our relationships, how we can get our needs met and remain attuned to the needs of others.
