mistakes: and the story we tell ourselves about them

What would happen if you chose to see a mistake as the launch pad for your next level of growth?

Most people are terrified of making mistakes. However, the terrifying part about mistakes is typically not the actual mistake. We’re usually more afraid of the story we tell ourselves about making mistakes. For example, we make a mistake and tell ourselves, “this proves I’m a failure” or we make a mistake and say, “this shows I’m not good enough.” There’s a moment, after making a mistake, where you could choose a different story: “I made a mistake and that makes me human. What will I learn from this?”
